How To Pay Your Rates (a Guide)

Step 1: Go to the PayRates URL / webpage
  1. Click this link OR copy the weblink into your browser (https://gosmartvalue-bxxyuu2dva-ew.a.run.app/payrates/dashboard)
           OR
  1. Scan the QR code 
Step 2: Sign In/Sign Up
  1. Click the  button
  2. If you have a profile on Gosmartvalue, fill in your user credentials to sign in
  3. If you do not have a user profile, fill your details on the Sign Up page to create a profile and sign in
  4. Click the  button
Step 3: Check your Bill(s)
  1. Fill in the property information - Plot Number, Location and Locality and click 
  2. Where you have more than one property, click  to add another property and click 
  3. Existing Bills for the property(ies) are displayed
Step 4: Select & Pay
  1. Select the checkbox  corresponding to the property you wish to pay and click 
  2. Fill in the Payer and Owner information and click  (Note: Payment receipt will be sent to the email address)
  3. Confirm the amount to Pay and click 
  4. View the Payment details page and click 
  5. Click this button  and fill your card details 
Step 5: Payment & Receipt
  1. Your card account will be debited of the total amount
  2. The Bill is updated as Paid
  3. Council gets notified of your payment
  4. A Payment receipt is sent to your email address
