How to Search for My Property Rates Bill

1. Visit www.gosmartvalue.com
   
    
   Search bar
2. Sign in and click the green 'Payrate' icon at the top of the screen
   
   Click on PayRates
   
   
3. Click the 'Click Here to Start' button
4. Sign Up if it your First Visit
   
   
   Signing Up

   Sign up to a Standard User Account.
   

   Sign up for Pay Rates is free so do not worry about any costs related to this action.
   

   We just need to create your profile for easy access.
   

   Use Your real details Name and Surname 
   

   Make sure you use an email address you have access to. 
   

    Chosen password must contain at least 1 Caps, 1 Smallcaps, 1 digit, 1 special character and at least 8 characters 
    
   

   Signing In

   If you already have a Gosmartvalue User account, use may use that account to make payments that are associated to the company your account is registered with. 
   

   i.e if you have a Valuer or Corporate Account, you may use them if your payment is associated with those companies

    
   

   
   
5. Fill in the plot number, location and locality according
   
   
   
   

Finding your location

Gaborone

Gaborone is a location. 

Leave the locality empty 

Francistown

The Francistown localities have special names allocated by by City of Francistown Council 

   

Click the 'Next' button to proceed

If you have multiple properties, click the 'Add Multiple Property' link and click 'Next' to proceed

All of the latest corresponding bills will be listed with each property. 

Select the checkbox corresponding with the property you wish to pay and click "Next"

5. Fill in the Payer and  Property Owners Information that you are paying for. 

All the properties you are paying for at one go have to belong to the same property Owner 

If the property owner and the Payer are the same person click on Payer is Owner so that you do not have to fill the same information twice. 

Please Note information provided here will be availed to the relevant local authority/ council for updating and reconciliation purposes

7. Confirm how much you wish to pay towards your bill by typing in the amount, or selecting Pay Full Amount

8. Click "Next" and proceed to make your payment.
